Dear Artist. Painter, Musician, Photographer, etc. What does your country do to help you to come into being? :) E.g. are there any places in your country where you can turn to somebody helpful and cooperative? But don't tell me about those shitty factories like in german or american music industry! I just don't wanna hear of this shit! I mean institutions which treat you like an Artist not a money making machine. Is it look like the same pits in every piece of land on earth or there are any differences maybe.

Let's find an artist paradise on this earth :)

if there ever was an "artist paradise" on earth, there would be no artists in it, just "artists", if you get my drift. as you all know, art comes from struggle with society/yourself/whatever. in an "artist paradise", such obstacles would not exist. therefore, no artists.

cheers!

You've got me wrong I think :)
You flashed on one stupid sentence what exactly was a humorous one :) Forget about "artist paradise" and focus on first part of my deduction.

I agree that obstacles make artist more creative ;) but don't worry - there are so many problems and struggles in human's life that it would be enough for a long long years. I mean there would always be some source of art for every artist. Don't worry about it.

I asked if some nation is more "open" for art than another. Besides I think art doesn't come from obstacles but from human. You have to be natural-born artist to turn the obstacles into art. Besides it's possible (but much harder) to turn the happiness into art too. Circs can only be helpful or not.

cheers! ;)

it's debatable whether a country provides more help to the artists than another one. i understood what you were trying to say, it's just that i don't think such a thing is possible. i mean, what kind of help should one artist be provided with? i just don't get it.
the only thing that in my opinion is dead harmful to art is the consumerism of art and it's imperfect absorbtion into tv, cinema and other mass entertainment providers.
from this point of view, i think that the help which should be provided to the artist should be more indirect than direct. by this, i mean that there should be found ways in order to make the factors that i mentioned earlier that are harmful to the progress and sanity of art, be diminuated, or even eliminated.
this is pure fiction, i think. even if i state it, i can think of no simple means which could eliminate the hunger of the average consumer.

cheery-o!

there are alot of places here to be an artist, but the problem is if people will come out and see you. you could be the next dali but if you dont have connections you are nothing. thats why i hate it here, its so unfair for so many people.
